BASS PRO SHOPS® SCRATCH-OFF PLAYERS TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery today held the first of four Bass Pro Shops® Outdoor Adventure Second Chance drawings, awarding 10 lucky winners a $1,000 Bass Pro Shops® gift card and one grand prize winner an adventure trip of a lifetime! The lucky grand prize winner will select his choice of one of six exciting outdoor adventure trips, ranging from a Key West sports fishing retreat to an Alaskan angling adventure. The Bass Pro Shops® gift cards may be used at any Bass Pro Shops® retailer or restaurant location, through Outdoor World Incentives™, Bass Pro Shops® catalogs or Web site at www.basspro.com. Following is the list of winners from today's Bass Pro Shops® Outdoor Adventure Second Chance drawing. The lucky winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prizes.
The three remaining Bass Pro Shops® Outdoor Adventure Second Chance drawings will be held on April 7, May 5, and June 16. Players may enter their non-winning $250,000 BASS PRO SHOPS® OUTDOOR ADVENTURE Scratch-Off tickets on the Lottery's Web site. Tickets entered by midnight on the night before each drawing will be included in the drawing. In each drawing, one outdoor adventure trip and 10 Bass Pro Shops® $1,000 gift cards will be awarded. Each of the grand prize winners will get their choice of one of the following outdoor adventure trips: sports fishing in Key West; fishing in Mosquito Lagoon, Florida; hunting in South Dakota; vacationing in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri; angling in Alaska; or white water rafting in Colorado. All adventure trip prizes include first-class round-trip airfare for two to four people (depending upon the trip selected), ground transportation to and from the destination airport and the lodge location, complete accommodations, activities, and a cash spending allowance! The game features four top prizes of $250,000, 2,500 Bass Pro Shops® $500 gift cards, and more than 1.5 million prizes ranging from $5 to $10,000. The game's overall odds of winning are one in 4.14. Florida voters, by a two-to-one margin, approved a constitutional amendment in 1986 authorizing the state to operate a lottery for the purpose of generating significant additional moneys for education. Today, Floridians continue to show their support by purchasing nearly $4 billion in Lottery products per year, resulting in contributions of more than $20 billion to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund since 1988.
